1. Who we are
CreatorStar (“we”, “us”) operates the website at creatorstar.com and the CreatorStar platform. You can contact us at support@creatorstar.com.
This policy applies to visitors of our marketing website, blog, free tools, and resources pages. The CreatorStar product application — where accounts, subscriptions, and payments are handled — presents its own terms when you sign up or check out.
2. Information we collect
We process the following categories of data on this site:
- Usage analytics (Google Analytics 4). Pages viewed, events (such as button clicks and section views), session duration, device type, browser, approximate location derived from IP, and the referring site or campaign that brought you here.
- Product analytics (Microsoft Clarity). Session recordings, heatmaps, clicks, and mouse movement to help us improve the site. We keep these for approximately 7 days.
- Attribution data (first-party, localStorage). The first site that referred you and whether your landing URL contained marketing campaign parameters (UTM tags).
- Information you give us. If you contact us or use a request form, any information you choose to provide (such as your name, email, company, or message).
- Payment information. We do not collect or store payment card details on this website. Payments are processed by Stripe — see §3.
3. How payments work (Stripe)
We use Stripe to process payments for CreatorStar subscriptions. When you pay, the payment is handled directly by Stripe.
- We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive card data. That information goes straight to Stripe.
- Stripe is certified as a PCI-DSS Level 1 service provider (the highest level of payment security certification).
- For payments, Stripe may process details such as your name, billing email, payment method, and transaction information as a data processor on our behalf.
You can read Stripe’s privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy and its service terms at stripe.com/legal.
5. Third-party providers we use
We share the limited data described above with:
- Stripe — payment processing (see §3).
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — web analytics.
- Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity) — session recordings and heatmaps.
- Alibaba Cloud (Aliyun OSS) — hosting of static website assets (images, scripts).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to make automated decisions that produce significant effects about you.
6. How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described here:
- Microsoft Clarity recordings: approximately 7 days.
- Google Analytics: up to 14 months, as configured.
- Referrer / UTM data (localStorage): until you clear your browser storage.
- Messages you send us: as long as needed to respond and handle your request.
7. Your choices
- Cookie preferences. Use the cookie banner on first visit, or the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer, to accept or reject analytics and recording. You can change your choice at any time.
- Google Analytics. Install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity. Opt out via Microsoft Clarity’s opt-out.
- Access, correct, or delete your data. Email us at support@creatorstar.com and we will handle your request.
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you manage or delete cookies and localStorage in their settings.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect data, including HTTPS in transit. No system is perfectly secure. Payment card data is protected by Stripe’s PCI-DSS Level 1 certified environment and never touches this website.
9. Changes & contact
We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the “Last updated” date above. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email support@creatorstar.com.
